Many have concluded that if we plant churches and “do church” correctly, we will succeed in making disciples. The problem is, there is no scriptural support for such a notion.

It makes no sense for the Church to sow seeds of pragmatism, and then bemoan the crops they yield. When we are driven more by the question “What works best,” than “What does the Bible say,” we should not be surprised by the nature of the resulting fruit.
