Family: I’m married to the most beautiful, incredible, and fabulous woman in the world–Debbie, the truest and deepest love of my life–and I have the two most incredible sons, Micah (24) and Philip (21)–I am honored and privileged to be called their father.
My Goal: Twenty years ago, I established as my goal: “To know and love God and His Word as much as is absolutely possible, and to help as many people as possible to do the same.”
Recently, because of study I’m doing and a book I’m writing, I have tweaked it. Now it is: “To be a true disciple of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, to help as many people as possible to become a disciple, and to help as many churches as possible to capture the biblical vision of making disciples.”
Someone came in my bookstore today and asked for “Getting the most from God…” and I haven’t found it at any of the main distributors I usually use. I think it would be good to have several copies in our store – And (when I read your great goal in life) I wondered if I had met you before?
